Our Mission

The Center for Liberation Studies is dedicated to advancing the systematic study and experiential realization of liberation through structured contemplative training. Our mission is to establish a rigorous, interdisciplinary platform where classical pathways to awakening AND THE DEATHLESS REALM are examined, practiced, and articulated in forms accessible to contemporary PRACTITIONER, academic, clinical, and institutional contexts.

At the core of our work lies a commitment to the training triad of Sīla (ethical withdrawal), Samādhi (attentional stabilization and transcendence), and Paññā (liberating insight). These are precise, trainable processes that transform the structure of human experience and culminate in the realization of the Deathless REALM (Nibbāna-dhātu).

Mission Objectives

1. To Formalize Liberation as a Field of Study
We aim to establish liberation studies as a legitimate domain of inquiry. This includes the development of conceptual frameworks, curricula, and research methodologies that rigorously examine the phenomenology, psychology, and transformative dynamics of contemplative practice.

2. To Provide Structured Pathways of Training
The Center designs and delivers progressive programs that guide participants from foundational practices to advanced stages of meditative development. These pathways emphasize disciplined training, experiential verification, and measurable transformation.

3. To Integrate Contemplative Practice with Contemporary Disciplines
We engage with fields such as psychology, neuroscience, and ethics to translate traditional insights into language and models that can be evaluated, applied, and expanded within modern knowledge systems.

4. To Support Institutional Collaboration and Dialogue
The Center partners with universities, research bodies, and interfaith organizations to foster informed dialogue on consciousness, ethical cultivation, and the end of suffering. Through lectures, workshops, and collaborative initiatives, we contribute to a broader understanding of human potential.

5. To Preserve Doctrinal Integrity While Enabling Accessibility
All programs are developed within the Arahanism contemplative framework, ensuring fidelity to the original structure of the path. At the same time, teachings are presented in a manner that remains accessible, precise, and relevant to diverse audiences.

Guiding Principle

The Center operates on a foundational principle:

Liberation is a structured, trainable process that can be studied, practiced, and realized through disciplined cultivation.

This principle informs all aspects of our work—from program design and research to institutional engagement and public education.

Long-Term Vision

Our long-term vision is to establish the Center for Liberation Studies as a leading institution in the global study and practice of liberation—one that bridges ancient contemplative systems and modern intellectual inquiry, and that provides a clear, reliable pathway from WORLDLY conditioned experience to the realization of WORLD-TRANSCENDED Deathless REALM.
